Description

To support intralogistics at CLAAS, we developed and manufactured a custom gearbox assembly and transport fixture. The goal was to create a device that could ensure both stable positioning during assembly and safe internal transportation of gearboxes on the production floor. The design process prioritized ergonomics, ease of use, and adaptability to the specific constraints of the production environment. The fixture had to secure the gearbox firmly during installation while also allowing for efficient and secure handling during in-plant movement.

➡ Result: The result is a rugged yet mobile fixture that ensures precise positioning of gearboxes during the assembly process and enables fast, safe material flow within the production facility. This solution enhances assembly efficiency and contributes to the optimization of internal logistics at CLAAS.
