Our partner, Inter Traction Electrics Ltd., sought to enhance the efficiency of side frame production for buses. To support this objective, our engineering team designed and built a 15-meter-long welding fixture. This equipment ensures precise alignment of the four main structural components of the bus frame—the chassis, the two side frames, and the roof frame—while also providing ergonomic and safe access to the weld seams.

During the development, special attention was given to compensating for the significant thermal distortions and deflections typical of large-scale welded structures. We integrated dedicated adjustment mechanisms at critical points to meet tight tolerances usually reserved for much smaller fixtures. All built-in mechanisms were engineered accordingly to maintain precision and reliability. In addition, our decades of engineering, manufacturing, and logistics experience allowed us to overcome complex production and installation challenges, ensuring seamless deployment of the welding system.
